Collaborations
2012 - present
In a Time of Change Program
Founded in 2008 by the Bonanza Creek Long-Term Ecological Research (LTER) in Fairbanks, Alaska, the In a Time of Change (ITOC) program facilitates and produces transdisciplinary events and exhibits focused on social-ecological themes, including climate change, wildfire, predator control, and the role of microbes in environmental health.
Beginning in 2012, I have contributed work to the following ITOC programs:
Boreal Forest Stories (2020 - ongoing) - collages
Microbial Worlds (2017) - sculpture
The Art of Fire (2012)
For Boreal Forest Stories, I have been making a series of painted paper collages describing wetland areas in the boreal forest. Permafrost melt and how this is impacting hydrology, plant and tree growth, and landscape typography in general are among some of the themes being considered.
